Bound bound bound & re-bound........
Here’s a story on how strange is life with its changes. And it happened not long ago.On a high mountain plain, where the sagebrush arranges. A playground south of the snow, Lived a lamb with a coat of remarkable sheen,It would glint in the sunlight all sparkly and clean,Such a source of great pridethat it caused him to preen.And he’d break out in high stepp’n dance.He would dance for his neighbors across the way.I must say that they found his dancin’ enhancin’,
For they’d also join in the play.

Then one day…
Then a-boundin up the slopeCame a great American jackalope.This sage of the sage, this rare hare of hope,Caused to pause and check out the lamb.“Hey kid, why the mope?”
“I used to be something all covered with fluff,And I’d dance in the sunlight and show off my stuff,Then they hauled me away in a manner quite rough. And sheared me and dropped me back here in the buff.And if that’s not enough. Now my friends all laugh at meCause they think I look ridiculous, funny, and pink.”
“Pink? Pink? Well, what’s wrong with pink?Seems you’ve got a pink kink in your think.Does it matter what color? Well, that gets nope.Be it pink purple or heliotrope.Now sometimes you’re up and sometimes you’re down,When you find that you’re down well just look around:You still got a body, good legs and fine feet,Get your head in the right place and hey, you’re complete!
“Now as for the dancin’, you can do more,You can reach great heights, in fact you can soar.You just get a leg up and ya slap it on down,And you’ll find you’re up in what’s called a bound.Bound, bound, and rebound.Bound and you’re up right next to the sky,And I think you can do it if you give it a try,First get a leg up, slap it on down…”
So every year, along about May,They’d load him up and they’d haul him away,And they’d shave him and dump him all naked and bare.He learned to live with it, he didn’t care,He’d just bound, bound, bound, and rebound.
Now in this world of ups and downs…So nice to know there are jackalopes around.

Pursuit of Happiness
Well just few days back I happened to seen this superb movie “The Pursuit of Happiness” and thought it would be the most appropriate topic for me to write about…
“…All men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness…
- as quoted in Declaration of Independence”
Thomas Jefferson had summarized the ideals of individual liberty, the line which grabbed my attention was everyone is bestowed with some unalienable rights and those are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Well he could have quoted just “Happiness” but it was written as “pursuit of happiness” ….
Happiness is an emotional state that is characterized by enjoyment and satisfaction. But this definition comes into picture only after one experiences it, Happiness is generally preceded by (though it not always like this, In my case it has always been this way) a lot of efforts, hardwork, toil.
Well one does experience short term happiness in everyday life …it can be when we hear a song which we like, might be something to do with our favorite food or a touchy movie. Though this is important in life I guess we should not be carried away thinking that’s the end. Short term happiness is something which keeps us in a dynamic state and keeps us in high spirits...so that we accomplish our goal…
Well I wud complete this blog later my PL is snaring at me..
I guess it better for me to write some fiction stories possibly you guys might feel good to read those instead.

Calvin Vs Me
Ha finally I get time to write about my alter ego(well I tell this because I used to act more or less like him when I was at his age)….
Calvin is an impulsive, overly creative(Haha this reminds me of my child hood when I used to imagine my teachers as aliens who everyday make kids work like hell at school and as if that is not enough they give lot of home work to keep them busy at home also)
, imaginative, energetic, curious, intelligent six year old...

Well describing him reminds me of my child hood ,when I used to ask a lot of questions to my parents teachers and whom so ever I find…I was always fascinated with everything thinking in a different dimension was my trait (thou others felt it was foolish) once I was asked to write a story and I came up saying “there was a plane flying and all of a sudden it was disappeared…later it was found the plane was gobbled by a UFO…ha that’s just an example for heights of my imagination)….well calvin also has a similar kind of thoughts but a bit more exaggerated …he has a stuffed toy(Hobbes) which he thinks is a real tiger n his best friend( well hobbes is not to be underestimated his levels of sarcasm are too high for a tiger: - ))
The best part is calvin makes his stuffed toy(hobbes) to do his maths and they finally end up giving genius answers like 1+ 1 =11 …also when he trys to copy in exams his classmate Susie(who is his first crush…gosh I never had or hav any crushL) gives the same answer for every question and this genius identifies tat 1+4 =infinty so 5+6 cant be infinity…well I guess I cant explain these but once you get to see the cartoon strips one would understand….
Ha there are many things which are similar …..calvin never cared for grades because the its always difficult to maintain them …to a certain extent my ideas were also same because I always felt its proper to learn things which are necc for life …I mean the basics must be learnt and rest of them are crap…because I don’t find myself using algebra or newtons laws or organic chemistry and most of all writing hindi daily ….what I need Is a basic idea and approach and rest of them are all crap…
Well finally I want to end it with this….in my TCS interview I was asked what kind of a person would Calvin become when is big…I don’t remember exactly what I told the interviewer then but I know that he would become like me…its like when we are small we try to learn a lot of things this learning mechanisms is different for different ppl ….some learn it by observing, some are forced and taught ,some ask countless questions (I fall in this category : - )) …later they learn to get adjusted with the society and try to work together thou there are differences to get things done….
Well I guess I wud end it here….i wud see if I can write something better next time…

TCS Quest.....
As far as I remember ,right from first year of my engineering I always wanted to get into TCS…well the reason was for nothing but I always knew that I would work for TCS some day and now it has come true…
Well I would start with how my interview had gone about…
After the great tremors in 3-1(tremors due to Power systems) I guess that was a big trough in my life…but that was taken care by Career launcher(A institute which was meant to help for MBA) but I could understand nothing will help us until we really want to understand things …I mean everyone has a sub-conscious mind which actually knows everything …we just need to invoke that and try to work hard when we feel low…I don’t think any of my friends helped me when I was low in spirits…thou mansoor,inder,avi and ashwin did help to keep my morale high…well others really cared more about partying and other stuff..haa it is true in a sense we must never crib for what has happened instead think what we can do to set the things right…
Well well well I am deviating from the topic again …
For getting entry into TCS I had to clear 3 levels
First we had to clear a written test to get through the first round …ha the funny part here was all were reading synonyms and antonyms for exam and I was always a zero in vocab …so I just concentrated on the comprehension and fill in the blanks and Isome how I got through ….as far as I rem all had cleared this phase except Mansoor and Sudha….
Then there was technical interview.. I was in panel 2 and every time 4 from a department was sent to the panel and only 2 were selected from them… when my turn came there were Pradeep,Lydia,harathi(my class mates)..ha I thought that would be my end ….but just before me inder’s interview was taken and it was in the same panel…and he told me one very great line which I just repeated through out my interview “ In TCS we get to learn a lot at every point of time”( well this is true because I never work and read something or the other:-))
Well my tech interview went on really fine I acted like a salesman putting out all my ideas …I guess building websites and working for techsonance(tech fest) really helped me in projecting myself as a team player…that did impressed the interviewer..ha one more funny thing was I was asked to explain the functionality of a inverter and as usual I put up a puzzled face …but quickly I explained the functionality of a diode telling that current wud flow only when voltage is applied in one direction and some how I linked up a inverter functionality with a diodes functionality…even now when I think about that I have a nice laugh….
The last one was the toughest…the interviewer was a lady(I guess age wont be more than 24 or 25) and she was looking pretty cool…but I remember the lessons taught in CL…never look at interviewer under the chin….i had a tough time to stare at her eyes(never used to do that)….well she had asked me all about the cartoon strip(Calvin and hobbes) as I wrote its my hobby to read them and also to create 2D animations…
Well I could see that she was really elated when she saw my hobbies and asked me many questions about calvin…and by gods grace I could answer them all…
I just remember one question which she asked me “ what is Calvin’d mom’s and dad’s names”…and the answer was he never addressed them by namesJ….i guess that made the impact and I got into TCS….

Can anyone beat me in this-III.......
Entry into Osmania University ….
Well I guess if I have to tell about my engineering I would have to write a whole book…
Ok let me try to remember….how I got into Osmania….
Well 305 is a weird rank as I could not get into a better college and by taking Phani’s bros advice I joined Osmania Electrical.
I was very Elated when I came to know only 3 guys got better ranks in my class (well this happiness did not last long:-))…..
Ok I would try to put everything year by year…..
First year was more like “Escape from seniors” …ha we guys came up with weird ideas of escaping from seniors….we used to execute a safely constructed plan everyday….
1) Morning I used to take a direct bus to college and always used to get down one stop before so that I get late to college (to some extent this trick used to work as classes used to start and seniors could not rag us) but later this started failing.
2) lunch break was the most torturous there were only 9 day scholar guys and about 10 day scholar gals(I don’t remember exact num) and as usual gals had 33% advantage as they were not ragged much …we guys used to sit in a single row(even thou one doesn’t fit in there everyone used to sit in a crampy manner and waited for the 6th period to start) …well this row formation trick used to work perfectly:-) because the one who used to sit in the ends used to be the scapegoat (as seniors used to call only the ending ones)
3) going back home in the evenings was the most adventures as everyday we had to run from different way or directions to make sure that no senior see’s us….
Second year was pretty cool because after getting superb marks in 1st year (76%) I understood Electrical engineering was not my cup of tea ….well the only question which taunted me was what I have to do after engineering….then I thought it pretty early to think about that …well all I remember is I gave a paper presentation on “Fuel cells”
And I totally messed it up …ha still I ended up getting first prize (God only knows how I got that)…
Third year was a turn around in my life style …I still remember tat Power systems paper…well I got no regrets for that anyway because I already knew I wont do anything in my life related to Electrical after my engineering…but that really shook me and taunted me everyday night because it was obvious at the time on interviews they would point out that and question me…I had to divert my mind and continuously do some work or the other so that I was not distressed…CL did help me in that …I still remember me solving a lot of puzzles and learning how to do Phishing….
Fourth year was really superb ….it all started when I got Placed in TCS…I would write how my interview went on in my next blog…well other than tat everyday my friends and me used to sit in the car parking and used to crack jokes on each other…well there is a lot more to write but its difficult to write long blogs in office…hope I don’t get caught doing this….

Its been long since i wrote a blog...well its almost 5 months i opened my own blog:-)... i need to finish my promised quest of telling about my schooling..i wud name this as "Can you beat me in this-II"
10th was really something i actually liked but i hated reading Hindi...i Still rem my hindi madam(i guess her name is Shaili) some how remembers my name and always used to call me " Aditya bhete aap answer bolo " well i used to give a weird grin and tell don’t know madam
Gosh i some how managed to pass 10th class with a distinction..Hey and I got 52 in Hindi(i was really relived seeing that marks)...
Well i thought 10th is only class a guy needs to read properly but as every time i was proved wrong...
Inter-I proved to be more challenging and more competitive...thou i did fairly well i guess i ended up getting 90% in every subject for the first time in my life...but i never had interest in writing exams...only thing which made me feel good in Inter-I was Physics classes...I still remember Ashwin(my 10th class mate who is still my frnd) and me sitting in last bench and trying out problems..I guess we always had completion in solving problem...Inter-I was the foundation for the Eamcet...
Inter-II i guess i slogged a lot...daily i used to wake up at 4 and got to college by 5:30 and used to run home by 4 quickly for seein cartoons which used to come on TVWell my notion of exams are boring still continued and i some how managed to get 90% again
I still rem when my last exam was over and we had 1 month for exam...every day thereafter passed like our Indian trains...there were many exams ...and every mistake i did really disturbed my sleep
I rem one instance which i wud like you guys to know:One day Ashwin called up at 3 in the morning( i dont rem time correctly) and asked wat i would do if i dont get a good eamcet rank...the only line i could utter that time was...that would only mean 2 years which i presumed to have worked had was false...but i made up my mind i wont regret at all for that...
Finally the day had come when i went to write da exam...every thing went on fine but in maths i filled one of the answer in wrong place and i continued that till i realized i did something wrong...well that did cost me something but i ended up getting 305 rank...that made my parents happy ...
and i got entry into Osmania University HYD...

Inter-I proved to be more challenging and more competitive...thou i did fairly well i guess i ended up getting 90% in every subject for the first time in my life...but i never had interest in writing exams...only thing which made me feel good in Inter-I was Physics classes...I still remember Ashwin(my 10th class mate who is still my frnd) and me sitting in last bench and trying out problems..I guess we always had completion in solving problem...Inter-I was the foundation for the Eamcet...
Inter-II i guess i slogged a lot...daily i used to wake up at 4 and got to college by 5:30 and used to run home by 4 quickly for seein cartoons which used to come on TVWell my notion of exams are boring still continued and i some how managed to get 90% again
I still rem when my last exam was over and we had 1 month for exam...every day thereafter passed like our Indian trains...there were many exams ...and every mistake i did really disturbed my sleep
I rem one instance which i wud like you guys to know:One day Ashwin called up at 3 in the morning( i dont rem time correctly) and asked wat i would do if i dont get a good eamcet rank...the only line i could utter that time was...that would only mean 2 years which i presumed to have worked had was false...but i made up my mind i wont regret at all for that...
Finally the day had come when i went to write da exam...every thing went on fine but in maths i filled one of the answer in wrong place and i continued that till i realized i did something wrong...well that did cost me something but i ended up getting 305 rank...that made my parents happy ...
and i got entry into Osmania University HYD...
well to tell about engg i need to start another one i gues:-)
